Friday, August 4, 2023 - Decanted for 45 mins. Pale garnet color with some bricking at the rim. Killer nose of rose petal, cinnamon, red cherries, dried sour cherries and some other sweet baking spice notes. Potential hint of balsamic coming through as well. Similar flavors on the palate with the sour cherry note really hitting the palate along with some cedar cigar box as well. Medium+ acid and tannin. Long finish. Drinking very well with some air so while there is plenty of life ahead, no reason you can't enjoy these wines now.
