Friday, August 25, 2023 - Brought this to Burlamacco Ristorante (East Coast) for dinner with my wine mates. Theme of the evening: Wines from Chris Ringland. Bottle was decanted for 2 hours prior to consumption.

Dark deep purple. On the nose the inky and iodine notes were formidable yet unmistakable. Savoury with rich, ripe red fruits. Wine is energetic and fruit forward in nature, bringing peace, calm and charm.

Has the Chris Ringland signature style: calmness amidst the energy, with the energy co-existing with the charm peacefully.
