Saturday, June 6, 2009 - Another excellent bottle. Amazingly layered and nuanced nose, with notes of raspberry, blackberry, bramble, sage, pepper, toast, and smoke. Palate is treat, with fruity blackberry jam leading (no raisin notes), followed by notes of white chocolate, minerals, and limestone. Good acidity adds some zing. Better cold -- became slightly flabby as it warmed.
