Wednesday, October 18, 2023 - Pours a deep purple in the glass with a magenta rim. Heavy extraction/tear staining.

Aromas are intense, with immediate savory notes coming out of the glass: smoked meat, leather, and bay leaf. Stewed black fruits come alongside these savory aromas: black plum, black cherry.

Mouthfeel is dry, with full body (15.2% ABV), medium minus tannin and medium plus acidity. Some potential R/S in the finish.

Flavors follow the nose but are more fruit forward, with the bay leaf and smoky, cured meat flavors following stewed fruits and spent oak.
