Sunday, October 22, 2023 - The Louis Boillot wines are quite undervalued relative to their peer wines, and this bottle of village Chambolle was delicious. It was a gorgeous brilliant ruby, a shade darker than I expected but still Chambolle in character, with an elegant but deep perfume. This vintage is acidic, but with silky tannins and plenty of crisp red apple-cherry and cranberry fruit.
