30 years ago they were known as being out spoken. They were also custodians taking care of the old grape varieties. And those go into all the different wines.

5% or maybe 10% are the other varieties. And Gabe notes that its really dry.

Smells softly fruit, with a fruitiness as entry into the palate, and I suppose the finish is dry, but to me, not terribly dry because the mid palate give some weight to follow it through. Has a bit of an urbane funk to the nose as well.

It's labeled as Brut but you can always trade down. So this could be extra brut. But they decided the market might give push back so why bother?

18 month on the lees, 60% 2020... and then...
