Tuesday, October 24, 2023 - For me this is dominated by flavours of blue fruit, think blueberry and plum. There is an edge of reddish fruit adding some freshnesss. The balance, as usual with La Spinetta wines, is excellent. Complexity is good with some licorice, dark floral and dried herbs hints. Tannins are smooth and modest. A clean, well made, pleasant, juicy and easy drinking blend of Nebbiolo and Barbera.
