Wednesday, November 1, 2023 - The nose was an amalgam of warm wet straw, lanolin and some emerging whiffs of honey. The acid was still lurking behind a core of fruit that emerged more fully as the glass warmed. While the the wine is drinking very well now, I remain doubtful that it will improve much further especially given the lower acidity present in the wine. It may become marginally mellow over the next three years or so. Whatever, a delight with battered orange roughie and chips.
