Medium/deep garnet core, pale garnet rim. The nose is quite developed showing plenty of smoke, earth and tobacco underneath red and black berry fruit. Medium bodied on the palate, mellow and soft with attractive fresh acidity and a good length harmonious finish. This is really drinking well though I don't think there's any need for particular hurry
