Saturday, November 18, 2023 - It's been over a year since I've tasted this wine and happened to be along side the 19 Keplinger Vine Hill Ranch. The compare and contrast of the higher elevation OVR was fascinating and educational. DJ pointed out to me the elevation of this vineyard is around 1K' feet. The firmer tannins and darker fruit are the biggest difference between the two. Structural and stylistically sharing a lot of similarities. Both amazing representations of vintage and place.
