Sunday, April 2, 2023 - 2 days in San Francisco; 4/2/2023-4/3/2023 (San Francisco): This was a bottle buy at Angler SF. It was decanted for a little bit and it just lit up the glass with deep tones of flint, pear, jasmine, quince, red apple, saline, lemon drop, crush rocks, yellow flowers, and peaches. The Medium bodied feel is so balanced, refined, and deep while being supported by racy, high acidity that makes your mouth water almost instantly. I've only been introduced to Boudignon in the last couple of years and am constantly floored by them. What they are doing with Chenin Blanc and in Savennieres is something wonderful and I can't get enough of these wines.
