Community Tasting Note

Friday, December 1, 2023 - It is hard to describe a wine that was so sublime at the moment, and I wouldn't have enjoyed it the same way if I'd been taking notes then. I brought this gem to the holiday version of my regular blind tasting group. THough we tried some other great bottles, this was the only one people kept asking more of until we finished it. You could almost not tell the age of the wine. In some way it was evident: integration, balance, and flavor from bottle maturity. But other spects like acidity, delicate floral and subtle honeyed were deceiving and pointed you towards a much younger offering. I will forever remember this wine and the person who gifted it to me and enabled me to have this experience.
