Saturday, December 16, 2023 - This, IMO shows a perfect balance between fruity things and tertiary things at age 19. It's really nice right now.

Dried porcini mushroom, dust, tomato leaf, old leather, barnyard (strange aromas for Brunello!), smoke and ash on the nose. Smells powdery, if that makes sense. The palate adds smoked meat, red cherries, red strawberries and keeps the leather and mushrooms from the nose, but loses the rest. It tastes younger than it smells. Nice 45 second long finish as well.

Medium + body with medium acid and medium tannin. The structure shows its age a bit; but the flavors of this are really nice. I believe this is fully developed, and at peak. Drink now.
