Saturday, January 6, 2024 - Appearance: crimson red core with red hues. Fairly translucent and medium bodied
Nose: notes of blackcurrant, cassis, plum mixed with savoury notes of coffee and liquorice. This is quite aromatic and perfumed
Palate: mixed red/dark fruits - ripe plum, cherries and laced with savoury coffee liquorice, some cedary spice. Alikened to Australian Shiraz, with greater complexity and not as full bodied. Very Northern Rhone style which I prefer over Aust Shiraz in general
