Sunday, January 14, 2024 - Dark, inky red color. Blackberry and anise on the nose. Intense yet smooth on the palate. Blueberry, roast meat, a bit of cherry. Plum on the mid-palate. Firm tannins (could stand 2 years or so to soften), great acidity and balance. Finishes long with red fruit notes. Give it 2 years to develop and drink for 10. 14.5% ABV but it isn't apparent at this point.
