Saturday, May 20, 2023 - The nose is deep, round, and toasty with brioche, golden grahams, almond paste, quince, red apples, pears, yellow flowers, custard, biscuits, and warm pastry notes. The Medium bodied feel shows off a lot of texture and balance with crisp, high acidity that is well integrated. This is always a winner, and this bottle is no different. This shows off all of the classic hallmarks that I expect from a 1911 while being as drinkable and excellent as I'd expect. This was from a fresher disgorgement, but I didn't write down the specific disgorgement date.
