Monday, December 25, 2023 - D+0h: a tiny bit of deposit in the filter and also in the bottle, smells of blackberry and raspberry D+3,5h: purple red colour, smells of blackberry, violets and eucalyptus, has a little bit of residual sugar, so not completely dry, smooth in the mouth, medium body, in the mouth blackberry, violets and raspberry, in the aftertaste violets, blackberry and a little bit of acidity, good length (30 sec), good red wine, yet reminds me more of a Rioja than a Bordeaux, it’s kind of un-Bordeaux-like. With Bordeaux of that particular bottle age (six years) I would have expected aromas of forest floor or barnyard instead.
