Saturday, February 17, 2024 - Bouquet is black plum, raspberry, olive, dusty potting soil, poutporri.

Palate is dark chocolate, blackberry, and a touch of anise. Doesn't seem super complicated, but it is delicious. Tannins are resolved and acid is medium. Wife said this reminds her of a Pinot and that honestly makes sense, minus the dark fruit profile. Finish is lasting upwards of 45 seconds with that bitter dark chocolate note lingering.
