Sunday, March 3, 2024 - Burgs, Birds, and Black Truffles (My place, Portland OR): Oh how I love the nose on this wine. This is pristine, polished, and refined with excellent depth to the tones of red and green apples, pears, biscuits, white fruits, baking spices, limes, toast, acacia flowers, and meyer lemons. The Medium bodied feel is deft and balanced with racy, high acidity that really makes your mouth water. This is just such a lovely Blanc de Blancs and I can't get enough of it. I do wish that it hadn't taken off in price like it has, but such is something that felt inevitable.
