Friday, July 3, 2009 - This is what would be characterized as a nice wine. If I were to go to, say, Central Park with a group of friends to hear a Met performance, this would be a really good choice; it is quite approachable. The nose finds mint and chocolate and orchard fruits. The eye sees a deep rich, brick red. The tongue finds ripe plum and green vegetables. The finish is not there. The wine lacks the complexity and structure and mouth feel to be in the next level.
