Saturday, March 30, 2024 - Opened around 2 hours before serving. Poured into Grassl Libertes. Drank alongside a 2008 Doyard Lumieres, which was much richer in style. This had a toasty, smoky, almost skunky nose. Good richness of texture, with lemon zest and more toast on the palate. Solid, but outclassed by the Doyard.
