Relatively light, with more of a texture that feels like Auslese than sweetness. In fact, by modern standards, this is probably more like Kabinett sweetness. Quite high acidity, but disappointingly simple on the palate, showing very heightened acidity and a bit of thinness that I wouldn't expect from a Dönnhoff Auslese.
