Tuesday, May 7, 2024 - Brought by Mark and Carol to our dinner in the little French restaurant. What a great wine with plenty of life, complexity, tannins and good acidity. This medium plus body monster is full of cherry and dark chocolate.
I felt it darker than the 2013 Cakebread Dancing Bear. I would not be in a rush to drink this one while it's ready to go now.

5/8/2024 11:41:00 AM - Yes, this was dark but I thought it lacked just a little life/acidity. The Cakebread will go for many more years, for sure!
