Thursday, May 9, 2024 - Deep purple color, strong alcohol and tannins right off the bat. Initially decanted for half an hour, but would recommend at least an hour, as it opened up much better with a little extra air. Very pleasing bold Italian red. Maybe a bit rustic, think big bowls of meaty pasta, but good value at $15.
