A wine of 'not quites': not quite piercing enough, not quite saline enough, not sufficiently flinty; not complex. There is way more 'tang' on the palate than there is in the nose. Not bad, by any means, but underwhelming (perhaps my expectations were set too high). My 'yardstick' for this cru is Raveneau and it's worth bearing in mind that the Fevre was one-third the price of the Raveneau.
