Friday, October 30, 2009 - This wine is very good, not overcooked, still ripe. Nose of dark purple berries, orange peel (VA?), molasses. Although ripe, the wine is a more moderate crimson, not the deep red we often see in zins from Turley. Flavors of chewy zinberry, brambles, hints of oak and molasses.
