Friday, November 20, 2009 - Let breathe in the bottle for three hours.
Gorgeous medium dark ruby red color.
Aromas of well spiced medium dark red cherries, red flowers, lovely allspice, earth and distinct star anise and menthol.
Palate is super sexy showing a lovely textured mouth feel.
Completely velvet with a finish that isn't at all telling of its 16.9% alcohol.
This was a fantastic vintage of a classic Napa bottling showcasing its beautiful lush and ripe mountain fruit.
Kept getting better and better throughout the evening. Absolutely wonderful juice.
Worth the price in my opinion.
