On the nose it was not giving up much, mostly dried flowers and iron, in the mouth it was dried cherries and dust. On the second day it had gotten my more deeply fruited, with some slight aged characteristics coming through... Nice wine, highly doubt I would have picked this as even an Italian wine, let alone a Chianti. Rather modern in styling, but definitely drinkable. Probably could go another 5+ years.
