94 Points

Friday, January 1, 2010 - Pale gold hue. Nose of sea air, applecore, lemon peelings, freshcut spring flowers. Long on the palate with an initial bite of semisweet granny apple and compelling acidity, then a sudden drenching with mineral-laden, flinty flavors of lime, grapefruit, and some petrol thrown in. Finish quite long and evocative, with waves of stone and citrus. Absolutely thirst-quenching and a standout with shui mai. From a 375.
