Saturday, February 13, 2010 - Very spicy on the nose, with a lot of pepper that almost reminds me of syrah. Intensity of fruit here, with smoothness, but a lot of acidity too. Mr. Eric Rousseau thinks 08 will be an early drinking vintage. A beautiful wine, very pleasing, shows the vintage and the terroir; not super dark in color, but rather what it should be; in a virtual dead heat with the Rousseau Clos de Beze for top wine of this tasting. 94
