Wednesday, April 12, 2006 - If there's such a thing as Middle-Eastern Claret, then Castel are the only ones capable of making it. A nice nose of cassis, cedar and pencil shavings. Elegant and restrained on the palate, with refined tannins and dark berries. Medium length. A less weighty wine than the Grand Vin but a very nice wine.
