Thursday, April 1, 2010 - I liked this. The grenache dominates. It tastes like hotter climate grenache (Paso robles?) on the attack with some nice grenache funk and darker berry fruits. There's some peppery syrah towards the finish, like maybe from a cooler climate (Edna Valley?). It's a good value for the money, but it doesn't have the complexity of some of the other Bishop's Peak wines, which can be a real steal.
