Monday, May 8, 2006 - A lively light purple color. Inviting nose of chocolate and cherry with a floral lift. Mouth-watering acidity. I liked this best at cellar temperature (57 degrees). It got broader and less focused as it reached room temp, with alcohol becoming more apparent. Still, quite interesting and nuanced for a $14 wine.
