Fresh, tart flavors of black cherry, with a good balance of tannin and acid. It's perhaps overly reliant on oak — vanilla dominates the nose — but my complaint is minor, as it has the stuff to go well with a variety of food. Delicious green herb notes vibrate as an undertone.

Marvelous. Soon after opening, the nose was redolent of bright berry fruit and, I think, graphite. Often times, after finding a nose as impressive as this, I am let down by the palate, but this was not the case here. Bright vibrant blackberry fruit which was never jammy. Wonderful refreshing acidity and soft tannin on the finish. The finish is a bit short, but overall just wonderful to drink.

A lively light purple color. Inviting nose of chocolate and cherry with a floral lift. Mouth-watering acidity. I liked this best at cellar temperature (57 degrees). It got broader and less focused as it reached room temp, with alcohol becoming more apparent. Still, quite interesting and nuanced for a $14 wine.

Very strong berry fruit flavors. Softened up over an hour right out of the bottle with nice finish. good value at $12 a bottle.

I don't have much to add to the notes already here; they cover things well. However, I'll reiterate the blackberry, acid and alcohol when warm notes.
