95 Points

Saturday, July 3, 2010 - My first aged Champagne, and it was everything I had hoped it would be. Richly golden hue, with an almost non-existent mousse, this captivating wine opens with rich, supple aromas of caramel, lemon curd, toasted hazelnut, followed by hints of ginger. The palate is elegantly rich and silken with a soft but persistent backbone of acidity and a decidedly firm minerality and a faint earth quality. Beautifully decadent and elegant. I can't wait to have another.
