Tuesday, July 27, 2010 - Dark clear garnet. Nose of black cherry, earth and dust. Delicious medium palate of cherry, tart strawberry, minerals, and faint licorice. Wonderful length. Refreshing acidity. Youthful tannins. Amazing young wine that has a long way to go to hit its prime. Addendum: Day 2, this wine was bursting with ripe fruit, amazing minerality and an endless finish. Tannins had receded significantly.
