Wednesday, August 18, 2010 - Pulled from the cellar on-spec for a top ribeye on bone. First look at 99 above generic level. Initially quite tight and showing some tannin still to resolve. Really opened up over an hour or so to a nicely spicy, dark red fruited wine with good acidity and line. True to it's terroir. On day two this is still nicely structured with good line and length. Very decent and a snip at a tenner from the Vosne MduV in 2003. ***1/2
