88 Points

Friday, December 3, 2010 - Very classical Bordeaux. Firm cassis in the bouquet as well as the taste. Firm and a bit harsh tannin. Almost Pauillac like. Ok concentration and acidity. The overall quality is certainly ok, but despite the green tannin the wine was already a bit oxidized the second day. This well could be an old fashioned wine which needs another 5 - 8+ years in a cold cellar to show what it really has in store. For now, young maturity with a firm bite. Not for everybody to like. 88+?
