Very classical Bordeaux. Firm cassis in the bouquet as well as the taste. Firm and a bit harsh tannin. Almost Pauillac like. Ok concentration and acidity. The overall quality is certainly ok, but despite the green tannin the wine was already a bit oxidized the second day. This well could be an old fashioned wine which needs another 5 - 8+ years in a cold cellar to show what it really has in store. For now, young maturity with a firm bite. Not for everybody to like. 88+?

Drank from magnum over two days. Great Margaux typicity, with damp earth, hints of licorice and dark berries. Beautifully balanced, opened up nicely over 24 hours and showed great class. I would say drink in the next 3-5 years.

opened over thanksgiving with ken, yuki and cyn. very tight at opening and after decanted over 2 hours, it opened up nicely. soft on the mouth yet there is enough texture to go with the roast chicken we had for dinner. enjoyed a lot.

Nice, rather forward nose of black berries, some raspberries and liquorice. Same on the palate with quite strong tannins. Got better over the course of the evening, even though it was decanted for 2 hours prior to drinking. This one is still a baby - will last for at least 5-8 more years.
