Thursday, December 16, 2010 - A juicy, open, amiable blend of 56% shiraz and 44% cabernet sauvignon exudes ripe blackberry, cherry and cranberry fruit that's tied with a ribbon of smoke, roasted thyme, meat and a tincture of coffee. The 14.5% alcohol is well poised against the silky texture. At $15 retail, it provides a great value, but it certainly doesn't have the stuffing for aging. Drink now until 2012.
