Sunday, December 19, 2010 - Outstanding showing for this wine. Decanted and poured, this wine showed improvement over a bottle tasted earlier this year. On this occasion, the wine seems more complete, harmonious and detailed. The bouquet shows oyster shell, lemon zest, floral and mineral notes. At times it shows a richer, vanilla note that for the most part does not detract from the bouquet. The wines remains a vibrant, light yellow color. The light/medium bodied palate shows outstanding balance and above average length. The refined palate easily contains the richer components of the wine. There is ample acidity on the finish, giving the wine a defined and precise feel. This could benefit from additional bottle and time and should drink well for at least the next three to five years.
