Wednesday, December 29, 2010 - Still a wonderful Pinot Noir from Elk Cove. It's changed a lot in the bottle over the years, but it still had punch. Much more mellow than what it was a few years ago. More mature but with plum, berry, spice and earth notes. Really delicious. Decant or aerate before drinking helped to bring the full flavor of the wine forward.
