Saturday, August 5, 2006 - Very pleasant wine which was deep red, almost purple. More fruit forward than other Tignanello wines I have had, and still fairly tannic--young. Wonderful finish that exhibited a bit of creme brulee. Give this some time. Great potential. Had alongside a 2001 Tenute Silvio Nardi, Vigneto Manachiara, Brunello di Montalcino. Slightly preferred the Tignanello.
