Wednesday, March 9, 2011 - Just outstanding. A traditonal ChdP nose, but without much barnyard or gaminess. Sweeter than you would think. In the mouth it has smoothed out, with sweet fruit like young ChdP (compared to the more historical style), but not over the top like many of the 2003s. there were elements of leather, garrigue, pepper, but all framed with the wonderful sweet, rich fruit. We had barely a hint of brick in the color. Not at all over the hill, but drinking superbly right now. Fabulous.
