Saturday, March 19, 2011 - 2001 California Cabs and Bryan's Midwestern Rib Cap (Coral Gables, FL): Wow this wine has changed since I last tried. On this night, the color wasa dep ruby with a hint of bricking. ON the nose, licorice, cassis, blackberry and a hint of oak. Not a sign of heat on the nose or palate. Really well balanced wine and an absolute pleasure to drink. This held up all night and the 1st sip was a good as the last. This also has some life ahead of it.
