Thursday, March 31, 2011 - PnP. Drank over next 4 hours. Deep concentrated domestic syrah- like color. Nose is somwhat restrained and also more syrah in character but more old world; meaty, damp earth. Expecting full body on the palate but this is surprisingly light on it's feet; silky and medium bodied. Flavors show much more Grenache, red fruit, sour cherry, rasberry with refreshing acidity, good balance, no heat, ripe tannin, sneaky long finish. Nice summertime red. Good QPR
