  • Opulent. Cassis, raspberries, dried fruit and pepper. Full bodied in the mouth, dominated by red fruit, chocolate, plum, liquorice, pepper, balsamic, garrigue, spice and herbal notes. Despite its intensity the wine remains balanced. Enjoy now.

  • Very dark coloured, with an inviting, expressive note of cassis, raspberries, dried fruit and pepper. Full bodied in the mouth, dominated by red fruit, chocolate, plum, licorice, pepper, balsamic, garrigue, spice and herbal notes. This pretty concentrated and hedonist wine remains surprisingly balanced and crisp, avoiding over-extraction, leaving space for the aromatic complexity to develop. Hold on to your bottles and give them another three years to fully blossom. You will then enjoy them for at least five years.

  • PnP. Drank over next 4 hours. Deep concentrated domestic syrah- like color. Nose is somwhat restrained and also more syrah in character but more old world; meaty, damp earth. Expecting full body on the palate but this is surprisingly light on it's feet; silky and medium bodied. Flavors show much more Grenache, red fruit, sour cherry, rasberry with refreshing acidity, good balance, no heat, ripe tannin, sneaky long finish. Nice summertime red. Good QPR
