Tuesday, April 5, 2011 - Good example of a very fruity California Cab. Jammy berries and earthy undertones paired nicely with elk steaks, but I agree with the prior post that this wine is a little hot. Decanted for 1.5 hours and there was still a predominate essence of alcohol on the finish. Medium tannins remain, so this may be good to age for a little longer to see if the alcohol dissipates/integrates.
