Tasted with susan, Liz in her backyard, with social distancing.deep red, touch of oak, plum, dark cherries, mouthful!well blended, round, good follow through. Very much alive, a rare opportunity. Thanks to Liz. 6/21/20 The wine looks garnet colored.

I'm a bit disappointed. Well made, definitely a RM wine. Reasonably well-alanced, good fruit, but lacks a certain something given its age, pedigree and cost.

Cork was starting to show seepage. Very little sediment. Wonderful, red fruit flavors and aromas. Notes of field greens and flowers. Tannins fully integrated. Not an enormous amount of depth of intensity, but very enjoyable.

Good example of a very fruity California Cab. Jammy berries and earthy undertones paired nicely with elk steaks, but I agree with the prior post that this wine is a little hot. Decanted for 1.5 hours and there was still a predominate essence of alcohol on the finish. Medium tannins remain, so this may be good to age for a little longer to see if the alcohol dissipates/integrates.

Big wine. Super ripe blackberries, violet perfume, robust, pungent plums, fig, dark volcanic rock, leather, chocolate. The palate has some heat. A rich wine with super black and purple berry, black vegetation and licorice. A little much alcohol on the finish. Juicy, massive extraction with a creamy mouth feel. High alcohol at 15.5%. Still high acid and moderate tannin levels. Strong spice. Really good but a bit hot as a whole.

Plum skin, charred wood, camphor, au jus on the nose. Ripe with a slight balsamic edge but not over the edge, shows a little tension. The flavors move to stony red fruits along with plum, vibrant limestone minerals and more meat juice. A slightly leathery finish of good length. More alive in the mouth than on the nose. Could do with a little acidity and breadth.
