Friday, December 24, 2004 - Christmas Eve dinner with chicken braised in hard apple cider with apples and pearl onions. Aging very gracefully. Still among my favorite California chardonnays. Nice structure and balance, complex and long. A nice lemony quality with a mineral backbone. Beautiful wine.
